Role Overview
The Video Editor at Envision TechSol is a full-time, on-site position located in Mysore. The person in this role will be responsible for assembling and editing video content that supports marketing campaigns, product demonstrations, tutorials, social media initiatives, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize raw video footage efficiently.
- Edit clips by trimming and sequencing to create coherent narratives.
- Add transitions, audio enhancements, and visual effects to improve viewer engagement.
- Perform color correction and grading to maintain a consistent, high-quality visual tone.
- Work collaboratively with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to interpret creative briefs and develop storyboards.
- Create videos that adhere to brand guidelines and messaging strategies.
- Incorporate motion graphics and basic graphic elements such as titles and animations.
- Manage media assets diligently and ensure timely export of content in multiple formats.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to set timelines for deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills
- Practical knowledge of video production lifecycle including planning, shooting coordination, and asset organization.
- Proficiency in editing techniques such as cutting, sequencing, pacing, and synchronizing audio using industry tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software).
- Expertise in video color grading and correction to uphold consistent visual quality.
- Skill in motion graphics and basic graphic creation utilizing software like After Effects or similar applications.
- Educational background such as a diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or related disciplines, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Additional strengths include attentive storytelling, keen attention to detail, knowledge of social media and digital platforms, effective time management, and teamwork capabilities.
- Experience with technology-based or digital product environments is beneficial.
- A demonstrable portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video projects enhances candidacy.
