About the Role

We seek a skilled and innovative Video Editor based in Lucknow with 3 to 6+ years of experience focused on government-related, news/media, and digital video production. The candidate should excel at transforming intricate government information, initiatives, announcements, and news materials into engaging, clear, and visually striking videos.

Experience with AI-enhanced video editing and content creation tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content for government departments, public-sector entities, and digital marketing campaigns.
• Produce and refine news videos, reels, social media posts, documentaries, and promotional materials.
• Work with diverse raw footage including interviews, press briefings, speeches, events, and on-field recordings.
• Craft visually appealing narratives while preserving accuracy and contextual integrity.
• Incorporate motion graphics, titles, subtitles, lower thirds, transitions, infographics, and charts to enhance videos.
• Tailor edits for various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, websites, and other digital news outlets.
• Collaborate closely with content writers, journalists, designers, producers, and communications teams.
• Ensure compliance with government/institutional branding, communication protocols, and factual correctness.
• Produce rapid turnarounds for urgent breaking news, announcements, campaigns, and events under tight deadlines.
• Utilize AI tools to optimize editing workflows, transcription, subtitles, voiceovers, background generation, content repurposing, and creative production.
• Maintain consistent high-quality output despite time constraints.

AI Skills (Preferred)

• Practical experience with AI-assisted video editing and transcription.
• Use of AI for subtitle creation, voiceover dubbing, generative video and image production.
• Expertise in AI-powered background or object removal.
• Leveraging AI for content repurposing and generating short-form videos.
• Application of AI-assisted scripting and workflow management.

Preferred Background

• Experience working with government departments or ministries.
• Familiarity with public-sector organizations (PSUs).
• Experience at government communication agencies.
• Work history within news channels or digital news outlets.
• Background in PR or communications agencies servicing government clients.
• Involvement in political or public communication campaigns.
