Job Overview

Krishloom Vastram (OPC) Private Limited is seeking a skilled Video Editor based in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India, who will be responsible for shaping raw footage into captivating stories and enhancing visual presentations through expert editing and graphic design.

Core Responsibilities

• Trim, cut, and assemble video clips to craft a smooth and compelling narrative.
• Create visual designs, including graphics, logos, illustrations, and layouts using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Enhance audio and visuals by applying techniques like color correction and grading, improving sound quality, and integrating effects, voiceovers, and music tracks.
• Add motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and visual effects using software like Adobe After Effects to enrich the final video product.
• Collaborate effectively with directors, producers, and creative teams to align the editing output with the project's vision.
• Maintain organized archives of raw footage, project files, and finished videos using consistent naming and filing conventions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Technical understanding of video codecs, various file formats, and compression methods.
• A strong sense of visual aesthetics and storytelling capabilities.
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills for smooth teamwork and collaboration.
• Experience level ranging between 2 to 5 or more years in video production or post-production, preferably supported by a portfolio.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 12,000 to 20,000 INR.
