Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow involves comprehensive video post-production responsibilities. The Video Editor will manage the entire editing workflow: compiling raw footage, trimming and ordering clips, adding transitions, and syncing audio with video. Tasks include color grading, applying motion graphics and fundamental visual effects, and integrating titles, graphics, and sounds to produce polished and captivating videos. The role demands collaboration with directors, producers, and creative colleagues to understand briefs, shape narratives, and ensure alignment with client branding and project goals. Additionally, the editor will manage project files, organize asset libraries, and adhere to production schedules and quality benchmarks.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in video production processes and an understanding of footage handling and shooting principles.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong skills in color grading to correct exposure, balance colors, and maintain consistent visual aesthetics across projects.
- Competence in motion graphics and graphic design, including creating titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and incorporating brand elements.
- Excellent attention to detail, visual storytelling capabilities, efficient time management, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under strict deadlines.
- A portfolio demonstrating completed video projects is required. Formal education in film, media, design, or related disciplines is advantageous but not compulsory.
