Role Overview
As a Verse Programmer, you will collaborate closely with various teams to develop robust and creative gameplay mechanics using Verse within the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). Your responsibilities include programming gameplay and network features, producing clean and efficient code, testing and debugging, documenting your work, prioritizing tasks, and occasionally taking on related assignments.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Programming, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with full-stack game development and rapid prototyping methodologies.
- Familiarity with Verse programming language; knowledge of C++ and JavaScript is a plus.
- Understanding of UEFN and the Fortnite Creative ecosystem is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Demonstrated curiosity, creativity, and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required due to collaboration with international clients and colleagues.
