Senior Laserfiche ECM Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Laserfiche ECM Engineer will be pivotal in designing, developing, testing, and supporting ECM solutions centered on automation using Laserfiche and Microsoft technologies. The position emphasizes creating workflow automations, digital forms, repository-based business logic, and comprehensive integrations designed to transform manual procedures into secure, scalable, and auditable digital services.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Laserfiche Forms for various business workflows including service requests, approvals, onboarding, procurement, correspondence, and case management.
• Develop and refine Laserfiche Workflow automations involving routing, escalations, notifications, approvals, metadata updates, SLA monitoring, and exception handling.
• Implement integrations using C# and .NET between Laserfiche and external enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRMS, email systems, portals, identity services, and payment gateways.
• Utilize API-based methods like REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, webhooks, and middleware for system integrations as per architecture requirements.
• Translate business needs into comprehensive technical designs, including diagrams, field structures, form logic, metadata models, and automation rules.
• Support document capture workflows like imports, metadata validation, OCR processing, and content classification.
• Prepare necessary technical documentation such as solution designs, deployment plans, test cases, and release notes.
• Engage in sprint planning, solution review sessions, user acceptance testing support, hyper care, and troubleshooting production issues.
• Identify and resolve workflow failures, integration problems, performance issues, and defective form logic across various environments.
• Ensure all solutions comply with repository security policies, audit standards, naming conventions, and records management guidelines.
• Work closely with system administrators to ensure alignment between application functions and user access, roles, authentication, and platform constraints.
• Contribute to developing reusable components, establishing coding standards, and promoting best practices for Laserfiche projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise application development or managing ECM/BPM solution deliveries.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience developing with Laserfiche Forms and Workflow.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, and SQL including stored procedures and query optimization.
• Proven ability designing and consuming APIs for third-party system integration.
• Competency in preparing detailed technical documentation and facilitating UAT and production deployments.
• Good grasp of repository metadata, templates, field design, and designing searchable information architectures.
• Fluent professional English communication; Arabic language skills are a significant plus.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Laserfiche Cloud.
• Domain experience in banking or government sectors.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Laserfiche certifications.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
