About the Role
Join Theta's Digital practice as a Lead Integration Consultant, contributing to cutting-edge solutions in the Microsoft Hybrid Integration ecosystem. Engage in cloud and hybrid projects primarily centered on the Microsoft stack. Collaborate with a team of skilled integration specialists and leaders who support professional growth and encourage innovative contributions where quality and insights are highly valued. This position is open to candidates based in Auckland or Wellington.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-native integration solutions leveraging Azure Integration Services including API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions.
- Oversee the technical direction and ensure high-quality delivery for integration projects.
- Mentor and elevate the skills of fellow engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Apply DevOps principles to streamline development and delivery processes.
- Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Contribute to solution design, project estimation, and scoping activities.
- Adhere to best security practices within cloud environments.
Experience and Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years designing and delivering cloud-native integration solutions.
- Proficient in C# and modern .NET development frameworks.
- Extensive experience with event-driven architecture and integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of Azure services and their appropriate application.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Prior consulting experience and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (preferably Terraform) considered advantageous.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity is a plus.
