Vehicle Service Agent

Job Overview

SIXT is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Service Attendant (VSA) to maintain the cleanliness and operational condition of our rental fleet. The position requires both indoor and outdoor work environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare rental vehicles by washing, vacuuming, and thoroughly cleaning interiors to meet SIXT's quality standards.
• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles, including checking for damages, dashboard alerts, tire condition and pressure, fluid and fuel levels, and general safety compliance.
• Reset vehicle settings to default, erase previous customer data, verify all registration documents, and manage lost-and-found items properly.
• Fuel and strategically position vehicles to ensure fleet readiness and efficient branch operation.
• Detect and report any maintenance or safety issues, withdrawing vehicles from service as necessary to protect customers and staff.
• Provide outstanding customer assistance, including transporting clients between branch locations when required.
• Keep branch premises clean and professionally maintained, covering workstations, restrooms, parking areas, and public spaces inside and outside the facility.
• Exhibit dependability with consistent attendance, punctuality, adherence to safety protocols, and effective teamwork in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum completion of high school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of relevant experience in vehicle service or an allied field, with preference for backgrounds in car rental, automotive maintenance, or dealership contexts.
• Strong verbal communication skills to ensure smooth interactions with customers, peers, and supervisors.
• Great attention to detail for discreet vehicle damage inspections, accurate fuel assessments, and precise record-keeping.
• Must be 21 years or older with a valid provincial driver's license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship requirements now or in the future.
• Available for 40 hours weekly including day and evening shifts, physically capable of moving in and out of vehicles, and comfortable working under all weather conditions.
