Position Overview
We are seeking a Vehicle Preparation Assistant based in Swansea to contribute to maintaining the high standards of our vehicles prior to customer handover and site display. This permanent role involves working 42.5 hours a week on a 5-days-out-of-7 rotating schedule with weekend shifts included, providing a vital support function within the preparation team through inspections, reconditioning, and presentation of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily vehicle inspections for damages, confirm specifications, and review service histories.
- Assist with reconditioning and valeting to ready vehicles for customer collection and showroom display.
- Take photographs of vehicles adhering to company marketing and record-keeping specifications.
- Perform vehicle check-in duties, ensuring consistent standards in assorted weather conditions.
- Manage personal data strictly following GDPR compliance.
- Provide support for vehicle movements both onsite and offsite.
- Communicate efficiently with drivers and transport personnel, managing any arising challenges professionally.
- Complete other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Must possess a full UK driving license.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as cooperatively within a team setting.
- Driven by deadlines and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining excellent cleanliness and display standards.
- Ability to stay composed under pressure with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Additional Information
