Vehicle Field Inspector

E INC, the parent company of EBlock and EDealer, aims to unify automotive wholesale and retail experiences through advanced digital auction and retailing platforms. Join us as a Vehicle Field Inspector, playing a crucial role in ensuring detailed and trustworthy Vehicle Condition Reports by inspecting vehicles at dealerships, auctions, and off-site locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of vehicles across various locations including dealerships and physical auctions.
• Document and assess structural damages, frame conditions, previous and subpar paint jobs, alignment issues, missing components, and mechanical faults.
• Follow industry standards and company instructions to execute precise inspections and associated documentation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by regular interactions, striving to meet and exceed client expectations.
• Ensure exceptional accuracy to reduce the chance of arbitration cases.
• Adhere strictly to all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Occasionally locate, start, and relocate vehicles as needed.
• Carry out other assigned tasks as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by innovative and resourceful approaches.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet remain effective within a team.
• Capability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Familiarity with web-based applications and automotive inspection tools is beneficial.
• Detail-oriented with dependable nature and excellent customer service skills.

Working Environment

• Willingness and ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
• Physical ability to bend, squat, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended durations.
• Occasional exposure to loud noises and chemicals.
