About the Role

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a well-established, expanding estate agency in Cardiff to find a driven Valuer to join their residential sales team. This role is tailored for seasoned property professionals who excel in securing instructions, cultivating strong client relationships, and guiding sales processes from valuation through to completion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding the sales portfolio while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform residential property valuations and convert valuation opportunities into formal instructions.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team goals for revenue, instructions, and completed sales.
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with vendors throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Ensure properties are market-ready and launched within established service timelines.
  • Effectively manage your schedule balancing client appointments, administrative duties, and follow-up tasks.
  • Negotiate offers skillfully and keep accurate records in the CRM system.
  • Maintain consistent communication with vendors during the sales process.
  • Proactively generate business through outbound calls and database management.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and financial service teams to optimise customer opportunities.
  • Provide support for colleagues by assisting with viewings and covering diary commitments during absences.

Candidate Profile

  • Prior experience as a Valuer, Senior Negotiator, or Residential Sales Negotiator within an estate agency setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to secure instructions and consistently meet sales targets.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and relationship management.
  • Familiarity with estate agency CRM software systems.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and adeptness at managing a dynamic schedule.
  • Confidence in working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possession of a full UK driving licence and readiness to travel for client appointments.
