About the Position

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Valeter to join our Fiat/Motorstore/Abarth branch located in Stourbridge. This role involves thorough cleaning and presentation of vehicles to ensure they are showcased in pristine condition.

Work Schedule

This full-time role requires working Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and alternating Saturdays between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide detailed cleaning and preparation of sold and stock vehicles ensuring high-quality presentation
• Operate high-powered pressure washers for external vehicle cleaning
• Use industrial vacuums and shampoo equipment to clean vehicle interiors thoroughly
• Enhance vehicle bodywork using polishing and buffing machines
• Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, including proper chemical handling
• Maintain and secure all cleaning equipment and machinery, reporting any faults
• Meet specified work timeframes and productivity targets
• Manage vehicle scheduling through an online diary system
• Document daily completed tasks accurately
• Perform additional support duties for the branch as needed

Required Skills and Experience

• Possession of a full UK driving license
• Basic proficiency with computer systems
• Exceptional attention to fine details
• Self-driven with strong capability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Readiness to engage in training and professional development programs

Previous experience in valet work is preferable but not mandatory; candidates demonstrating enthusiasm and core skills will be considered. New valeters will attend Arnold Clark's Valet Academy for comprehensive training.
