Role Summary

We are seeking courteous and safety-conscious Valet Drivers who enjoy engaging positively with customers. This role offers a valuable opportunity to grow within the company, as many team members started in similar positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure every client interaction is handled with care by resolving requests and concerns promptly and communicating proactively.
  • Perform thorough vehicle inspections before parking and document any observations.
  • Inform customers about valet service rates clearly.
  • Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Report incidents such as accidents, safety issues, unusual occurrences, or policy violations to management immediately.
  • Have knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and highways to facilitate smooth transportation for customers.
  • Arrive on time to each scheduled shift wearing a clean uniform and remain in full uniform throughout the shift.
  • Assist management with other tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record and current address.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with manual transmission is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including possible second and third shifts or weekends.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States with valid documentation.
  • Strong communication skills to provide accurate information and professionally handle customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills including the ability to read, write, and manage US currency arithmetic, and comprehend instructions and short communications.
  • Capability to follow both verbal and written directions and stay calm amidst changes or unexpected situations at work.

Physical Requirements

The role requires frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of cash and equipment. Occasionally, sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting or moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds is necessary. Reasonable accommodations can be provided to individuals with disabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a base hourly wage starting at $16.50 to $17.00, plus the ability to earn tips. Eligible employees may participate in benefits programs including medical, dental, vision coverage, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, life and accident insurance, 401k plans, and paid time off.
