Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service by efficiently addressing client requests and concerns, seeking proactive solutions, and maintaining clear communication with customers to enhance their parking experience.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before parking, carefully documenting any observations.
- Inform customers clearly about valet service rates.
- Comply always with traffic laws and safe driving practices while operating vehicles.
- Immediately report any incidents such as accidents, safety issues, unusual events, or policy infractions to management.
- Be knowledgeable about local streets, landmarks, and highways to ensure smooth transportation for customers.
- Report to work punctually in a clean, complete uniform and maintain this professional appearance throughout each shift.
- Assist with additional tasks as delegated by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Possess a valid state driver's license and an acceptable driving record, with a current address on file.
- Capability to drive manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Availability to work non-standard shifts, including second or third shifts and weekends.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S., with valid documentation presented upon hiring.
- Effective communication skills to provide accurate information and professionally handle customer inquiries or complaints.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, including the ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic with U.S. currency, as well as comprehend written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to adapt calmly and efficiently to changes, delays, and unexpected situations.
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical activities such as standing and walking regularly, using hands to manage cash and equipment, occasionally sitting, climbing, balancing, and the capability to lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly wage for this position starts at $16.50 and tips are earned in addition. Eligible employees may participate in extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance plans, flexible spending accounts, long and short-term disability coverage, life and accident insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
