Role Overview
We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Valet Drivers who enjoy engaging with customers and are motivated to succeed. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career advancement within a diverse and innovative environment at SP+. Many team members have grown from valet roles into other positions within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles prior to parking, documenting any notable findings.
- Communicate valet service rates clearly to customers.
- Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safe driving guidelines.
- Report any accidents, safety concerns, unusual incidents, or policy breaches to management immediately.
- Provide customers with accurate directions, knowing major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the local area.
- Maintain a clean, complete uniform at all times during scheduled shifts and arrive punctually, ready to work.
- Assist management with additional responsibilities as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a valid state driver's license with current address and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate vehicles with manual transmissions (stick shift) is advantageous.
- Flexible availability to work special shifts including second, third shifts, and weekends as needed.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. with valid documentation upon hiring.
- Excellent communication skills to provide accurate information and handle customer issues professionally.
- Basic numeracy skills including the ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic on U.S. currency, and comprehend instructions, emails, and memos.
- Capable of following both written and verbal instructions and adapting calmly to unexpected changes and delays.
