Role Summary
We are seeking dependable and courteous Valet Drivers to join our team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate enjoys customer interaction, follows safety protocols, and contributes positively to client experiences.
Primary Duties
- Ensure exceptional client service by addressing requests and concerns promptly, creatively solving problems, and maintaining proactive communication.
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections before parking and document any observations.
- Inform customers about valet rates clearly and professionally.
- Adhere strictly to traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
- Report incidents such as accidents, safety risks, unusual events, or rule violations immediately to management.
- Be knowledgeable about surrounding streets, landmarks, and highway systems to facilitate smooth customer transportation.
- Maintain punctuality, present a clean uniform before and throughout shifts, and be ready to work.
- Assist management with extra responsibilities as requested.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid driver’s license recognized by the state, current residential address, and a driving record meeting acceptable standards.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including night shifts and weekends.
- Proof of legal work eligibility in the United States is mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills, including providing accurate information and responding professionally to complaints.
- Competency in reading, writing, basic arithmetic related to currency handling, and understanding short communications.
- Capability to follow written and oral instructions and adapt calmly to unexpected situations or changes.
Physical Requirements
This role requires standing, walking, and handling cash and equipment frequently. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 25 pounds are also expected. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.
