Role Overview
The primary responsibility is to design comprehensive UX/UI experiences for both mobile applications and web platforms that align with product strategies. This involves crafting wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished final designs employing tools such as Figma and AI-augmented prototyping software. The role demands leveraging customer insights, behavioural analytics, and user experience research to optimize user interfaces and journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end user journeys for mobile and web applications in accordance with the product vision.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs using Figma and AI-driven prototyping tools.
- Integrate insights from customers and behavioural data alongside UX research to enhance the overall experience.
- Facilitate or assist in conducting usability and A/B tests, offering recommendations for iterative design refinements.
- Ensure all designs adhere to established design systems, usability standards, and accessibility guidelines compliant with WCAG principles.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Technology, User Research, Data Analysis, and Quality Assurance to validate designs prior to deployment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 5 years of practical experience in UX/UI or product design roles.
- Academic qualification of a bachelor's or master's degree in Design, UX/UI, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or similar disciplines.
- Proficient in using Figma for design creation, alongside strong skills in prototyping, user research, and usability testing.
- Well-versed in customer journey mapping, A/B testing methodologies, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and data-informed design decisions.
- Strong visual aesthetics coupled with excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and team collaboration capabilities.
- Experience within financial technology (Fintech), banking, financial services, or insurance sectors is advantageous.
