Role Overview
This full-time hybrid position is ideally located in Brisbane. As a UX/UI Designer, your core responsibility is driving customer-focused design methodologies and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect, high-fidelity designs in Figma that directly address hypothesis-based problems leveraging research, data, and best practices.
- Utilize design systems and style guides to maintain brand consistency across all client projects.
- Proactively contribute strategic design solutions that align with problem statements within the design elaboration process.
- Present design concepts clearly with supportive rationale referencing WCAG 2 standards, research insights, and established guidelines.
- Incorporate WCAG 2 accessibility standards into all design deliverables ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate closely with strategy and development teams to facilitate smooth design implementation.
- Assist research teams by preparing UX/UI analyses and competitor reviews.
- Keep abreast of latest trends in UX/UI, design, and CRO to continually enrich the team's knowledge and skills.
Experience and Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in Figma, including creation and application of design systems.
- A Bachelor's degree in a design-related discipline or minimum 2 years' experience in UX/UI design.
- Portfolio showcasing at least three high-fidelity projects with clear design decision justifications.
- Skilled in interpreting data and research to produce informed and effective designs.
- Ability to critically assess information and make sound judgments.
- Proficiency in Apple Mac environments and Google Suite tools.
- Experience using project management software effectively.
- Desirable: Background in eCommerce design and familiarity with A/B testing methodologies.
