About the Role

Conrad Indianapolis is seeking a Utility Steward to become a vital part of its Stewarding Department. This position offers an excellent chance to advance within a leading Fortune 500 company renowned for its sophisticated luxury brand. Located in Indianapolis, our hotel is the city’s inaugural luxury property and the only Forbes-recommended hotel in Indiana. The 23-story building contains 247 guest rooms, 15,000 square feet of adaptable meeting space, and two food & beverage venues: The Capital Grille and The Lounge, along with convenient in-room dining options. Our hotel also has the city’s sole hotel spa and connects via skywalk to The Arts Garden and The Indiana Convention Center, ensuring smooth access across downtown Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all service ware is impeccably clean, including chinaware, silverware, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and burnished silver items.
• Maintain proper stock levels and organization of supplies and equipment to guarantee smooth operations.
• Carry out essential cleaning duties such as mopping floors and removing trash to uphold kitchen hygiene.
• Assist with event preparations by cleaning, preparing, and setting up service ware for banquets and functions.
• Provide training and mentoring to new stewards to enhance team effectiveness and performance.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations to protect the welfare of guests and team members.
