About the Role
Join UtiliQuest as a Utility Locator, where you'll receive comprehensive training to master safety protocols and techniques used in detecting underground utility lines. Collaborate with seasoned utility locators utilizing specialized equipment and digital tools to ensure the safety and efficiency of excavation projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Acquire skills in utility locating methods, safety standards, and equipment operation
- Understand local utility infrastructure and related regulations
- Work alongside experienced locators to mark underground utility lines
- Operate locating tools and equipment proficiently
- Record and document findings through digital mapping technologies
- Perform duties under all weather conditions, often working alone in remote areas
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work legally in the United States
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Valid non-provisional state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR)
Physical Requirements
- Regularly work independently in remote locations, use upper body strength, and perform fine motor tasks
- Frequently lift up to 55 pounds, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and operate computers
- Occasionally climb stairs, work in confined spaces, and use portable ladders
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage ranging from $20.00 to $22.00
