Utility Cleaner

Position Overview

The Utility Cleaner supports multiple critical hotel operations including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry departments. Responsibilities include preparing clean linens, ensuring spotless dining ware, operating and maintaining cleaning machinery such as dish washers and linen washers, and transporting dishware or linens throughout the hotel premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe work environment by following established policies and procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality and hygiene standards consistent with company expectations.
• Maintain professional appearance, attire, and communication at all times.
• Develop positive collaborative relationships with colleagues across departments to achieve shared objectives.
• Promptly report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, and carrying items up to 50 pounds independently.
• Engage in activities requiring prolonged standing, sitting, walking, as well as bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching above and below knee level.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• No formal educational requirements; high school diploma or GED not necessary.
• No prior work or supervisory experience required.
• No licenses or certifications required.
