The firm is headquartered in Tampa, FL, with offices in Florida, New York, Hyderabad, India, and Manila, Philippines, serving clients across the US and Canada.
Position Overview
This position is designated to work the IST night shift from 6:30 PM to 4 AM, available on a part-time or contract basis. The US Immigration Consultant will manage all facets of immigration programs, delivering training, guidance, and support related to immigration services. This individual contributor role contributes to initiatives enhancing company services, improving efficiency, and addressing the needs of a growing global and mobile workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing filing and processing of various US visa petitions including student visas such as OPT and CPT, H1B cap, extension, transfers, amendments, B1 filings, and PERM/Green Card processing.
- Overseeing LCA management, preparing petition packages, and document collection as per checklists related to H1B cap, extension, transfer, and amendments.
- Completing government forms including I-129, I-129H, I-129DC, LCA, petition letters, supporting documents, I-539 for dependents (H4), and I-907 for premium processing as required.
- Preparing cover letters with fee details, support documents, vendor letters, and coordinating with attorneys to ensure correct and timely petition submissions.
- Responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), verifying and modifying client and vendor letters, and maintaining employee communication for HR and immigration queries.
- Organizing, maintaining, and filing legal documentation and monitoring statuses and expiration dates of H-1B cases, while updating immigration and HR reports.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in employment-based immigration, either within a law firm or corporate environment, handling US, Canadian, and Indian visas and permanent residence programs.
- Hands-on experience in completing paperwork and filing applications with USCIS, not limited to document collection but actual form filling and submissions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact across organizational levels and deliver superior customer service.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university preferred.
- Experience with temporary immigration applications.
- Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.

The role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize concurrent tasks effectively. A passion for outstanding customer experience is essential. Working in IST night shift timing is mandatory, and the engagement is on a part-time or contract basis.
