About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Unit Manager to oversee food service operations at Waikato CPK in Hamilton Central. This full-time, permanent position involves working 40 hours per week during education terms. The successful candidate will support the Area Manager by managing daily operations, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring delivery of quality food and service that aligns with client and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop your team to maintain high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships while proactively addressing operational challenges.
- Manage budgets, labor resources, inventory, food costs, and meet site performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with strict food safety, health, and workplace safety standards.
- Identify and implement service improvements, revenue growth opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated success in leading teams in senior hospitality roles.
- Strong financial insight with experience managing operational budgets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Solid understanding of food hygiene regulations and workplace safety protocols.
- Confident in using technology and business systems for operational management.
