Role Overview

As a Uniform Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the professional appearance of SLS team members by managing their uniforms with care and precision. The position involves coordinating with Laundry and Housekeeping to ensure uniform distribution, collection, maintenance, and inventory control are handled effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Distribute freshly laundered, neat uniforms to employees.
• Collect, sort, and examine worn uniforms prior to processing.
• Prepare and assign uniforms to new hires, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Assist with uniform fittings, exchanges, and replacements as needed.
• Keep accurate records of uniforms issued, returned, and assigned.
• Organize uniforms according to department, individual employee, and identification tags.
• Monitor inventory levels; report shortages, damages, or needs for replacement.
• Arrange for uniform cleaning, pressing, repairs, and adjustments.
• Support periodic inventory counts and maintain adequate stock.
• Provide courteous assistance to staff with uniform-related inquiries or requests.
• Maintain the uniform room’s cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with Laundry and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless uniform operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent education preferred.
• Prior exposure to uniform management, laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality support roles advantageous.
• Basic understanding of garment care and uniform handling practices preferred.
• Strong organizational skills coupled with attention to detail.
• Fundamental knowledge of inventory and stock management.
• Effective communication skills with basic proficiency in English.
• Dependability, adaptability, and comfort working in a fast-moving hospitality environment.
