Job description
Role Overview
As an Underwriter specializing in Manager Liability (Directors & Officers insurance), you will evaluate corporate data, including financial statements, to design and negotiate tailored insurance solutions for executives within industrial and corporate sectors, both domestically and internationally. Your role involves independently expanding and securing the insurance portfolio, conducting risk monitoring, supporting brokers and corporate agents, enhancing the network, assisting sales teams, contributing to product development, and planning as well as executing strategic sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess business-related data such as annual reports.
- Design and negotiate customized insurance products for managers in industrial and corporate sectors, with an international scope.
- Autonomously grow and maintain the insurance portfolio.
- Perform ongoing risk monitoring activities.
- Provide support to brokers and corporate intermediaries while extending network connections.
- Offer professional assistance to the sales department.
- Participate in the development of new insurance products.
- Organize and implement strategic sales campaigns.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Completed training as an insurance and finance professional and/or university degree in law, business administration, or economics.
- Knowledge in manager liability insurance or a strong willingness to develop expertise in this area.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexible, dedicated, and ready to take initiative.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Enjoys working independently, responsibly, and in an organized manner.
- Interest in current economic developments and affairs.
- Excellent written and spoken German, with good command of English.
