About the Role

Battery Smart, a prominent EV battery swapping network, is seeking a proficient RSA 2 Wheeler Electrical Mechanic to ensure maintenance and repair of electric two-wheelers and their electrical components. This position demands diagnosing electrical faults, component repairs, and swiftly handling roadside assistance within prescribed timeframes. Operating across field locations and warehouse workshops, the role requires hands-on technical skills, problem-solving abilities, zone travel, and flexibility to work in rotational shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and fix electrical malfunctions in electric two-wheelers.
• Inspect and replace electrical parts including wiring harnesses, controllers, lights, chargers, DC converters, and other components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine servicing on EV vehicles.
• Troubleshoot issues related to battery, charging systems, and electrical circuits.
• Travel within designated zones to address and resolve roadside assistance (RSA) tickets.
• Provide timely on-site technical support for vehicle breakdowns.
• Utilize mobile applications or diagnostic devices for basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with operations and field teams to manage breakdown resolutions and escalations efficiently.
• Document all repair activities and monitor spare parts inventory accurately.
• Update ticket statuses and resolution details using the designated app.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards during all repair procedures.
• Follow all prescribed safety and operational guidelines in the field and workshop environments.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a 2 Wheeler Mechanic or Electrical Technician.
• Basic knowledge of EV vehicle systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile disciplines preferred.
• Comfortable and proficient in using smartphones and mobile software.
• Ownership of a two-wheeler and a smartphone is mandatory.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions and to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
