Role Summary
We are hiring a Senior Programmer or Engineer experienced in CAD/CAM design and Turn-Mill centre programming, specifically for New Product Development and machine shop production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and program turning and turn-mill machines, including tooling and setting, with 3-4 years hands-on experience in manual and CAM programming and validation.
- Select appropriate tooling and design jigs and fixtures for new products.
- Implement and maintain 5S workplace organization and continuous improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to enhance production of low volume products.
- Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) and Environment Management System (EMS) procedures throughout the department.
- Maintain accurate tool management records post completion of sample or first orders; manage material accounting for first-time orders.
- Perform process validation twice yearly for mass production and critical products, particularly those in Medical and Defense sectors.
Educational Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in manual programming and Mastercam/NX CAM (2D and 3D) programming.
- Experience with MS Office applications.
- Effective communication skills in English and native Kannada language.
- Knowledge of multi-axis programming and design.
