Transport Allocator - Early Morning Shift

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Transport Allocator to join a prominent transport company based in Murarrie, Queensland. This role involves overseeing the safe and efficient movement of freight within a 3PL warehouse environment. The successful applicant will report to the Transport Supervisor and will be working a weekday early morning shift from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily parcel and pallet delivery routes covering Brisbane and South-East Queensland to ensure optimal utilization of fleet and transportation resources.
• Oversee both company drivers and subcontracted carriers to maximize operational efficiency and delivery productivity.
• Monitor delivery performance continuously, addressing exceptions and disruptions proactively to uphold service standards.
• Develop and maintain strong communication lines with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff to foster collaborative relationships.
• Promptly investigate and resolve service issues while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and company policies.
• Promote a safety-first culture by leading regular toolbox meetings emphasizing safety, operational priorities, and effective team communication.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in transport allocation with familiarity in Brisbane and South-East Queensland logistics.
• Solid understanding of the transport and supply chain industry.
• Knowledge of transport management systems is essential.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to adapt and contribute to a rapidly growing business.

Additional Details

• Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent position.
• Location: Murarrie, Queensland, Australia.
• Compensation: $44.00 per hour with potential for $80,000 plus superannuation upon permanent employment.
