Role Purpose

This newly created position involves establishing and managing ZURU’s first comprehensive training program. Working closely with the International People & Culture Director and other leaders, the Training Specialist will own the entire training calendar and ensure seamless delivery of educational sessions designed by internal experts and external presenters.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the training calendar including scheduling, invitations, venue and technology arrangements, and preparing sessions for flawless execution.
• Coordinate with internal experts and external speakers to organize specialized training presentations tailored to specific topics.
• Maintain a central, accessible repository of all training materials, session recordings, and resources, optimizing how content is stored and shared.
• Regularly review and update training content to maintain relevance and accuracy.
• Explore automation opportunities to reduce administrative tasks such as scheduling, attendance monitoring, content tagging, and communication.
• Leverage AI technologies to streamline communications, summarize feedback, and organize training materials effectively, shifting the role towards people-focused efforts rather than paperwork.
• Analyze attendance and engagement data to evaluate program effectiveness and inform continual improvements.
• Ensure ZURU Academy remains the authoritative source for training, marking modules complete with reviews rather than tests, except for critical high-stakes skills assessments.
• Incorporate ZURU’s core values and culture, including Radical Candour, into all training coordination activities and sessions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in program coordination and managing complex calendars across diverse stakeholders and time zones.
• Ability to engage and manage relationships with experts, speakers, and leaders, ensuring timely delivery without compromising rapport.
• Strong interest and aptitude in applying AI tools to automate administrative burdens and improve workflows.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems or content platforms for managing session recording and retrieval, along with basic facilitation skills.
• Detail-oriented and pragmatic approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Alignment with ZURU’s dynamic and innovative culture, willing to challenge traditional training methods.
• Motivated by building new systems and processes, adaptable to growth and change, and skilled at forming trusted partnerships across various organizational levels.
