Traffic Marshall

About the Role

We are looking for three dependable and experienced Traffic Marshalls to join a long-term commercial project located at a secure prison facility in Preston, England. This role involves managing the safe flow of site traffic in a high-security environment, ensuring adherence to strict protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Control and direct all vehicles entering and leaving the site, including construction machinery and delivery trucks, ensuring safety at all times.
• Manage vehicle access according to prison security procedures and gate regulations.
• Maintain pedestrian safety by separating areas where active plant, delivery vehicles, and site personnel or public may cross or move.

Requirements

• Hold a valid CPCS or NPORS qualification specific to Traffic Marshall or Vehicle Control.
• Possess a current CSCS safety card.
• Be prepared to complete standard vetting checks required for secure or prison sites.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, a strong work ethic, keen observation skills, and a focus on maintaining safety.

Additional Information

• Hourly pay rate is GBP 18.00, paid under CIS arrangements.
• The project start date is Monday, 14th September 2026, running through to 2028.
• There are three positions available for this long-term engagement.
