Trading Technology Engineer

About the Role

We invite enthusiastic fresh graduates to become integral members of our Technology team focused on electronic trading platforms. This position provides a hands-on chance to work with cutting-edge trading technologies, oversee technology operations, facilitate client onboarding, manage system integrations, perform data analytics, and uphold information security standards within the financial markets sector. You will collaborate closely with seasoned technology experts and business stakeholders, gaining both technical knowledge and professional skills while supporting critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in onboarding institutional clients and partners by aiding in technical implementations, conducting testing, and managing project coordination.
• Oversee and maintain the connectivity infrastructure and trading systems to ensure they remain stable, secure, and operationally reliable.
• Analyze operational and business data to generate insightful reports, discern trends, and support regulatory and compliance actions.
• Deliver first-level technical and operational assistance to clients and internal teams by diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, and applying timely resolutions.
• Work collaboratively with technology vendors, service providers, and business units to facilitate system deployments, service delivery, and resolve issues.
• Engage in ongoing technology operations and process enhancements aimed at improving system dependability, operational efficiency, and user satisfaction.
• Support identity and access management functions including user provisioning, periodic access audits, and adherence to information security protocols.
• Create and update technical documents, operational workflows, user manuals, and other project-associated documentation.
• Participate actively in testing phases such as system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and evaluating production readiness.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related fields.
• Open to fresh graduates; internship experience in software development, technology operations, financial services, or system support is advantageous.
• Basic familiarity with software development concepts, system integration, networking, databases, or cloud environments.
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages like Python, Java, PowerShell, or Shell Script is preferred.
• Genuine interest in financial technology, electronic trading, capital markets, or futures trading industries.
• Knowledge of electronic trading platforms, FIX Protocol, market connectivity, or financial markets, while beneficial, is not mandatory.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills coupled with a quick ability to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of contributing effectively within collaborative settings.
• Self-driven, detail conscious, and committed to task ownership and continuous learning.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, or other collaboration software is helpful.
