Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and commercially focused Trade Territory Representative for our Tauriko location, joining the Trade division to expand sales, acquire new clients, and enhance ongoing partnerships. This role demands a proactive approach: going into the market, opening new opportunities, asking insightful questions, and generating business where others may not see potential.
The successful candidate will act as both a trusted advisor and a determined negotiator, responsible for driving growth, forging strong customer relations, and translating opportunities into measurable sales outcomes. Cooperation with branches, category managers, and key accounts will be crucial to execute strategic initiatives swiftly and ambitiously.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively pursue and secure new business prospects to unlock unexplored market segments
- Strengthen and deepen existing relationships with high-value customers
- Utilize industry-leading data and market insights to stay ahead of competitors
- Capitalize on Bapcor’s strong brand portfolio including BNT, Autolign, HCB, and JAS to provide added value
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in B2B or trade sales environments
- Several years of professional sales experience
- Competence in CRM systems, customer profiling, and managing strategic sales territories
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong influencing abilities
- A persistent, resilient, and professional 'hunter' mentality with a proactive approach
Desirable Experience
- Background in a competitive, trade-focused industry
- Experience managing key accounts or trade network relationships such as Capricorn
