About the Position
This on-site sales role is essential in forming the initial positive impression at the branch. The successful candidate will provide prompt and professional customer support at the counter, on the phone, and through email communication. Key tasks include completing accurate sales transactions, responding to product inquiries, managing stock movements, and assisting with day-to-day branch operations. The role is well-suited for someone who thrives in a busy environment where accuracy and genuine engagement are valued.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome all visitors promptly and deliver engaging, friendly customer service.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incoming enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interaction with solution-oriented assistance.
- Carry out sales transactions accurately, efficiently, and adhering to established branch protocols.
- Input customer data, sales details, and stock information into internal systems with care and precision.
- Oversee stock movements including returns and replacements to keep inventory accurate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment, supporting general branch activities as needed.
Requirements and Skills
- Established experience in customer-facing roles or trade sales, preferably within retail or trade environments.
- Strong organizational capabilities and accuracy when managing transactions and inventory data.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport and provide clear information.
- Familiarity and confidence using Point of Sale software or comparable systems, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- A practical, proactive, and solution-focused approach to tasks and teamwork.
