Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Car Sales Executive to join our Toyota dealership team located in Lincoln. This full-time position involves working Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off and Sunday shifts rotated. Working hours include 8:30 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays, and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sundays.
Employees will benefit from a company car and an on-target earnings (OTE) potential of £51,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding clients’ vehicle needs and aligning them with appropriate cars, features, and financing options.
- Build trust and communicate clearly to exceed customer expectations from initial contact through to contract completion.
- Convert opportunities from prospecting, follow-up calls, inbound enquiries, walk-ins, and internet leads.
- Meet monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales units, profit margins, finance penetration, and additional product sales.
- Comply with FCA and data protection regulations by accurately recording customer and vehicle information to enhance the customer database quality.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in car sales, retail management, or sales management is advantageous.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills allowing swift rapport building with customers.
- Motivated to develop a long-term career within the automotive sales industry.
- Possession of a valid UK driver’s license is required.
- Prior automotive or motor trade experience preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training is provided.
