Role Overview

The Tortilla Clerk is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting while exemplifying company values. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and ensuring food safety and quality standards within the tortilla department.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers warmly, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns with a service-oriented approach.
• Arrange and replenish tortilla products in display cases and on tables to keep cases fully stocked and appealing.
• Accurately weigh and label items using scale knowledge and weight measurements.
• Uphold sanitation, safety, loss prevention, and overall department organization standards.
• Operate various professional equipment specific to the tortilla department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.

Customer Service Excellence

• Maintain a high level of personal customer service, engaging proactively and professionally with customers at all times.
• Enhance efficiency and speed in service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Possess a valid Food Handlers Card.
• Experience in customer service and retail is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Continuous walking and standing throughout the shift while moving around the store and managing merchandise.
• Ability to lift items up to 25 pounds routinely and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Compensation Details
