About the Role
This full-time Toolstore Person opportunity is based in Guildford, Western Australia, supporting the South Guildford Team. The role reports to the Toolstore Supervisor and involves managing the toolstore, which is essential for maintaining, storing, and renting specialised tooling required by technicians for various mechanical tasks. The team also administers consumables such as safety boots, vests, and ear plugs, with cost centres assigned to different departments within the business.
Work Schedule
The position operates Monday through Friday for 10.5 hours per day including a meal break. Every fifth week includes an afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and control tooling assets within the department.
- Place orders for consumable supplies.
- Coordinate and schedule tooling calibration activities.
- Communicate with mechanics and technicians regarding specific tooling needs, including tool check-in and check-out.
- Manage inventory control for tooling and related items.
Qualifications & Experience
- Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exceptional customer service skills paired with strong communication abilities.
- Basic administrative proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using SAP systems.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with parts or tooling requirements.
- Ability to function well within a team and independently demonstrate initiative.
