Job description
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based in Port Hedland, Western Australia at the WesTrac branch, working on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) full-time basis with a roster of 14 days on and 7 days off, working 12-hour shifts including meal breaks.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, the Storeperson is tasked with managing parts accurately and efficiently. The primary duties involve interpreting, picking, packing, and dispatching customer parts orders to ensure superior customer service. Occasionally, the role includes assisting with hose manufacturing, with training provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general warehousing duties.
- Picking, packing, and processing data related to customer orders.
- Repairing minor parts and reconciling parts inventory.
- Conducting stock checks and maintaining inventory control.
- Operating forklifts as part of daily tasks.
- Building hoses when required.
- Providing assistance to customers.
Skills and Experience Required
- Possession of a High Risk Work Licence specifically for forklift operation is essential.
- Valid Western Australia C Class driver’s licence.
- Capability to function both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Good manual handling skills.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
- Previous experience in warehouse environments or in parts interpretation is desirable.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP or DBS is advantageous.
