Job Overview
The Timekeeper position involves ensuring precise maintenance of attendance and timesheet documentation for all personnel engaged in the project, aligning with company policies and project mandates. This role plays a critical part in supporting site management, HR, payroll, and administrative operations by delivering dependable workforce data and reports.
Primary Duties
- Track daily attendance, absences, overtime, and leave of project employees.
- Compile and uphold accurate timesheets and manpower reporting documents.
- Confirm proper workforce deployment and labor allocation across work zones.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to authenticate attendance and workforce movement data.
- Submit attendance records timely to HR and payroll teams.
- Monitor vacation entitlements, sick leave, and other authorized absences.
- Prepare periodic manpower reports—daily, weekly, monthly—for project leaders.
- Keep employee records updated including identification, mobilization dates, and current work status.
- Provide assistance in the documentation processes for mobilizing and demobilizing workforce members.
- Enforce adherence to company policies and project protocols related to attendance and reporting.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee and payroll information.
- Support administrative and HR-related project requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Holder of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- Possesses between three and five years’ experience in a Timekeeper, Site Administrator, or comparable position within construction or civil projects.
- Experience contributing to large construction projects in Saudi Arabia is advantageous.
- Skilled in utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and attendance management software.
- Strong familiarity with workforce reporting and payroll procedures.
- Exhibits acute attention to detail and excellent organizational capability.
- Capable of managing extensive workforce data accurately under pressure.
- Communicates effectively in English; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial.
