Senior Land Surveyor

Job Overview

The Senior Land Surveyor will oversee and conduct all survey-related tasks on construction sites, including land measurements, setting out points, verifying levels, and managing coordinate controls to ensure precise data aiding project execution per approved plans, specifications, and quality protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform comprehensive land surveying and setting-out on site.
• Establish and confirm project control points, coordinate systems, and elevations as per approved engineering drawings.
• Analyze survey data, engineering schematics, and project specifications to confirm accuracy and compliance.
• Validate site boundaries, dimensions, and levels both prior to and during construction operations.
• Utilize and upkeep surveying technology including Total Stations, GPS devices, and automatic leveling instruments.
• Compile survey documentation, calculations, formal reports, and As-Built Drawings.
• Maintain survey benchmarks and control networks throughout the duration of the project.
• Collaborate closely with Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical departments to guarantee precise project application.
• Diagnose and address discrepancies and technical issues related to surveying encountered on-site.
• Ensure all surveying operations adhere to safety, quality, and project standards.
• Offer technical guidance and support to junior surveyors and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Preferred professional registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Competency with contemporary surveying tools and software platforms.
• Experienced user of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying applications.
• Solid foundation in surveying theory, computations, and practical construction surveying methods.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communicator in written and spoken English.
