Job Overview
The role focuses on actively promoting and executing Fly Jinnah's daily sales and customer service operations at the sales outlet to meet specific targets and objectives. This involves managing customer inquiries and complaints by directing them appropriately to improve customer satisfaction and experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Support sales and customer service tasks aligning with supervisor and manager guidance, including selling tickets, holiday packages, visas, insurance, car rentals, and related services.
- Handle reservation requests, travel bookings, changes, ticket issuance, and finalize travel arrangements for walk-in and telephonic customers and agents via the company system.
- Apply cross-selling strategies to boost company products and services, working to achieve personal sales targets.
- Stay updated on company offerings and system updates to maintain thorough product and service knowledge.
- Drive sales growth by promoting add-ons like insurance, holiday packages, visas, and air rewards while informing customers about current promotions and directing them to specialized staff as needed.
- Engage with existing and potential clients to restore or increase sales, cultivating trust and credibility through direct contact and outdoor promotional activities.
- Address all customer queries and complaints promptly and effectively to uphold a positive company image.
- Maintain courteous and welcoming customer interactions, avoiding behaviors that might reduce satisfaction.
- Coordinate with airport and visa personnel to facilitate check-in procedures when necessary.
- Inform customers regarding flight updates such as delays or cancellations.
- Manage visa application processing and cancellations following company protocols.
- Keep company property—such as brochures, equipment, office spaces, and waiting areas—in excellent condition to project a professional corporate image.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Management, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Aviation, IATA, or Tourism are advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English.
- Basic understanding of airline and travel products and services.
- Strong capability in understanding and guiding customers through their issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, leveraging sales and marketing techniques.
- Ability to address various customer situations including complaints and special requests with prompt problem-solving and alternative solution suggestions.
- Effective negotiation, persuasion, and problem-resolution skills.
- Capacity to work extended hours under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills to support organizational objectives.
Experience
- Typically, 1-2 years in customer service, ideally within travel, airline, or tourism sectors.
- Fresh graduates showing required competencies may also be eligible.
