About the Role
Join our team as a Threat Intelligence Analyst to help monitor and analyze cyber threats impacting the Infocomm and Media sectors. You will play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and distributing critical cybersecurity intelligence to inform protection strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with fellow Threat Intelligence analysts to maintain up-to-date situational awareness across Infocomm and Media domains.
- Stay informed on threat actor tactics and methods, creating timely, precise, and relevant cyber intelligence reports for stakeholders.
- Evaluate and propose intelligence requirements and collection tools that enhance analytical output and intelligence product quality.
- Investigate cyber threats targeting telecommunications, media infrastructure, and systems, recommending effective mitigation steps and detection signatures.
- Develop a variety of cyber intelligence deliverables including ad hoc threat reports, monthly trend analyses, and comprehensive annual threat landscape assessments.
- Contribute to cyber incident response efforts, threat and risk assessments, malware investigations, and cyber exercise participation through diligent research and analysis.
- Maintain thorough and updated documentation of processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Educational background in Information Security or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of five years' experience as a Threat Intelligence analyst, including at least one year in a leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to prepare and deliver threat intelligence briefings to senior management, security and IT teams, and clients.
- Experience publishing cyber threat or vulnerability research and authoring detailed cyber incident or threat assessment reports, utilizing frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK for tactics, techniques, indicators, and mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency with Threat Intelligence Platforms and their integration with security infrastructures.
- Familiarity with telecommunications, broadcast, media technology, and enterprise IT environments.
- Hands-on experience in network traffic and log analysis, forensic investigations, or malware examination.
- Advantageous to have expertise in designing and refining threat detection queries within Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
- Understanding of network and operating system security (Windows, Linux), cloud architectures, and application security principles.
- Possession of relevant professional cybersecurity certifications such as CREST CCTIM, CRTIA, CPTIA, GIAC GCFA, GREM, GCFE, or GCIH.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a proactive approach to overcoming cybersecurity challenges.
- Excellent communication skills complemented by the ability to engage well with others.
