About the Role
We seek a proactive, self-driven professional passionate about advancing a trusted and innovative data environment in Singapore. This position supports the growth of Singapore as a reliable data economy and enhances its reputation as a trusted international data hub within the Data Innovation & Protection Group (DIPG).
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate cutting-edge technologies, vulnerabilities, and technology risks relevant to regulatory frameworks, including AI and quantum computing.
- Assess new technology solutions, tools, and frameworks ensuring their safety, reliability, and utility, and communicate insights to internal teams.
- Design and develop straightforward prototypes to trial and showcase novel technologies and evaluation techniques.
- Create accessible explanatory materials, guides, and resources to translate technical findings into actionable advice for stakeholders and organisations.
- Lead data breach investigations to uncover system flaws, technical weaknesses, and potential negligence.
- Analyze digital forensic reports and deliver clear, constructive recommendations to relevant internal parties.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 3 to 7 years of experience related to privacy, data security, software engineering, data science, or analytics.
- Hold an academic background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or fields closely related.
- Demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and cybersecurity threats and trends.
- Holding advanced certifications such as CSPO, CHFI, SANS Cybersecurity, CIPT, or CDPSE is strongly preferred.
- Fresh graduates with pertinent academic credentials, practical internships, or project experience are invited to apply.
