Test and Run Technician

About the Role

Speedy, the leading provider of hire equipment and tools across the UK and Ireland, is seeking a dedicated Test and Run Technician at its Erith location. This full-time role involves working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:00, totaling 42 hours each week. The position requires performing fundamental electrical and operational tests, as well as servicing and cleaning returned hire products. The goal is to guarantee that all equipment is safe, functional, and prepared for the next customer.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Conduct basic electrical testing, focusing on 12 and 24-volt systems.
• Apply basic mechanical skills and efficiently utilize various tools.
• Maintain clear and effective communication, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in the hire sector or related engineering field is preferred but not mandatory.
