As a Termite Technician in Lincoln, NE, you will be the frontline defender of customer properties, safeguarding structural integrity through expert termite control measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose termite-related issues by understanding termite behaviors and determine appropriate remedial actions.
• Execute termite treatments safely in accordance with company standards and label directions.
• Apply anti-termite solutions to structures following detailed schedules and safety protocols.
• Inform customers about conditions promoting termite activity and suggest supplementary procedures or structural modifications.
• Confirm work orders meet necessary specifications before proceeding.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and treatment equipment.
• Fill out documentation detailing services rendered accurately.
• Engage professionally with customers to explain services provided.

Essential Job Functions

• Work outdoors under varying environmental conditions, including seasonal weather and damp/dusty environments.
• Prepare and set up treatment sites properly.
• Access confined spaces, crawl spaces, roofs, and ladders safely, often working in physically demanding positions involving climbing, kneeling, crawling, and balancing.
• Wear necessary personal protective equipment such as OSHA-compliant respirators.
• Possess general labor skills like carpentry, roofing, cement work, or gutter maintenance as an advantage.

Required Qualifications

• Clean-shaven face for respirator seal protection.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence; company vehicle and gas card will be provided.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience; prior termite control experience is beneficial.
• Strong eye for detail and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays and occasional Saturdays.
• Compliance with federal, state, and local licensing and certification requirements (provided by employer).
• Basic math skills to follow product mixing instructions accurately.

Additional Information

This position requires work at heights (up to 20 feet) and in confined or narrow spaces where pests reside. Candidates must be comfortable with physical demands involving frequent movement and use of PPE.
