Role Summary

As a Termite Technician, your main responsibility is to safeguard customers' properties from wood-destroying pests. You'll be the frontline in providing inspections, preventative measures, and treatment services that ensure peace of mind for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose termite issues and understand their behavior to decide on appropriate treatments.
• Carry out termite treatments safely following company standards and procedures.
• Apply anti-termite solutions carefully, adhering to schedules, safety protocols, and label instructions.
• Communicate with customers regarding conditions that promote termite infestations and discuss additional procedures or structural changes that support treatment.
• Ensure each job complies with specified work orders.
• Operate and maintain service vehicles and relevant equipment reliably.
• Complete documentation related to services rendered.
• Engage with clients, clearly explaining services performed.

Essential Functions

• Work comfortably in various environments such as seasonal weather conditions, damp or dusty areas.
• Prepare work sites for termite treatment effectively.
• Enter/exit buildings and crawlspaces; climb ladders and stairs.
• Be able to work safely at heights up to 20 feet and within confined spaces.
• Experience or skills in general labor, carpentry, roofing, cement work, gutters, or attic tasks are advantageous.
• Physical activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and navigating ladders or scaffolding.
• Use and comply with personal protective equipment requirements, including OSHA-approved respirators.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must maintain a clean-shaven face for a proper respirator seal.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license from your state; company vehicle and fuel card provided.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience; termite control experience is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday and some Saturdays as needed.
• Federal, state, and local licenses or certifications as required, paid for by the company.
• Basic math skills to handle measurements and product mixing instructions.
