Terminal Duty Manager (Qatari)

About the Role

Qatar Airways is searching for a motivated Qatari National to fill the position of Terminal Duty Manager at their Doha passenger terminal. This critical role involves overseeing all activities within the terminal complex ensuring seamless operations and delivering outstanding customer service. The role requires 24/7 shift work and reports directly to the Senior Manager Terminal Operations as well as the HIA Operation Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee terminal operations to ensure smooth passenger movement and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the passenger terminal during assigned shifts, monitoring high-traffic areas to manage flow.
• Ensure strict compliance with aviation safety and security protocols.
• Lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team, fostering a positive, customer-focused work environment.
• Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to address operational challenges and drive terminal performance improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing position.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities with experience managing diverse teams.
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth understanding of terminal operations and capacity to make effective decisions under pressure.
• Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including mornings and nights.
