Job Overview

Join XPT Software Australia as a Technology Solutions Architect based in Carlton, Victoria. This role involves leading architectural development across assigned programs, guiding technical teams to ensure designs conform with strategic architecture, standards, and patterns, and participating in proposal evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop architectural layers across program workstreams.
• Provide technical teams with direction to ensure detailed design alignment with target architectures and standards.
• Contribute input for requests for proposals.
• Present solution designs in stakeholder forums to secure necessary approvals.
• Update and maintain the Enterprise Architecture Repository with current architecture changes.
• Support projects by early risk and issue identification and effective management.
• Oversee architectural governance throughout design, construction, and operational stages.

Required Expertise

• Hands-on experience with simple SAN/NAS solutions, cloud-native technologies, and complex virtualized storage systems within fabric-switched software-defined data centers.
• Proficiency with storage technologies including S3 Buckets, Blob Storage, Databricks, SQL and No-SQL databases.
• Familiarity with data protection and storage tools such as CommVault, NetApps, EMC storage, fibre channel (FC), iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN environments.
• At least eight years of relevant industry experience in technology solution architecture.

• Leadership capabilities in technical environments.
• Experience or interest in academic technology, education policy, and IT course and certification development or review.
