Technician - Mason

Position Overview

The role involves constructing, installing, and repairing various walls and partitions such as drywall, wallpaper, millwork, molding, and faux finishes. The technician will also handle the installation and repair of finishes like laminates and perform rough-in framing for doors, windows, cabinetry, and frames.

Core Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and repair wood structures including partitions, doors, and furniture across the property.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks such as fixing loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Manage procurement activities by completing requisitions, securing manager approvals, and liaising with vendors.
• Safely transport freight using hand trucks from elevators to designated locations.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety and security protocols, reporting any hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Communicate professionally and foster positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
• Assist guests respectfully, including those with disabilities, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment aligned with company standards.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, performing climbing tasks, and fine motor activities.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum educational attainment is a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant work experience in a related field.
• No requirement for supervisory experience or formal licensing/certifications.
