Job Overview
The role demands candidates with up to three years of experience in composite manufacturing, possessing foundational understanding of composite materials and various fabrication methods.
Key Responsibilities and Knowledge Areas
- Familiarity with composite manufacturing techniques such as prepreg layup, wet layup, and resin infusion processes.
- Understanding of bonding fundamentals and different bonding types utilized in composites.
- Experience handling hand tools including cutters and drilling machines.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as steel rules, vernier calipers, screw gauges, bevel protractors, height gauges, thickness gauges, micrometers, and tongue calipers.
Additional Skills and Awareness
- Knowledge of composite materials fabrication and overall manufacturing processes.
- Awareness of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) safety protocols.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools, particularly the 5S organizational methodology.
