Job description
Position Overview
This role is focused on coordinating and executing installations, modifications, and system improvements related to information technology equipment to enhance both reliability and performance. It involves operating computer and peripheral devices, troubleshooting unusual hardware and software issues, and providing solutions for guest internet connectivity problems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and manage IT equipment setups, relocations, additions, updates, and overall system enhancements.
- Enter commands and control operations on computer and related equipment.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues involving hardware, software, or in-room internet access.
- Suggest and apply improvements to operational processes.
- Keep an accurate record of all technology assets.
- Maintain and service PBX and telephone switchboard systems along with their hardware components.
- Ensure security of computer and telephone rooms by maintaining locked access and using electronic key control systems.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety standards; report incidents and hazards promptly.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of sensitive company information.
- Provide courteous guest service in line with company standards, including appropriate phone etiquette and professional communication.
- Support a compliant and positive workplace environment and act as a role model within the department.
- Build and nurture constructive working relationships and assist the team in meeting collective objectives.
- Ensure quality standards are met or exceeded and recommend efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost-saving enhancements.
- Perform visual inspection and verification of information, tools, equipment, and machines.
- Manually handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without help.
- Use computers and Point of Sale systems to input and find data.
- Perform additional reasonable tasks as directed by supervisors.
Additional Information
This opportunity is available exclusively for candidates eligible to work in Saudi Arabia.
Work schedule is full-time and the position is non-management. The work location is onsite along Third Ring Road, Al Naseem District, near Al Rajhi Mosque, Makkah.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Education: No minimum requirement for high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- Licensing or Certifications: No specific licenses or certifications are necessary.
